Today in this article we will research and compare this verse of the Qur'an with the translation of the Traditional Scholar and the Qur'an only scholar or the Qur'an and also see what the straightforward and simple translation of these words of the Qur'an regarding the property law.

To understand this verse of the Qur'an it is necessary to first understand the word يُنفِقُونَ in this verse of the Qur'an. As I have stated in my numerous articles that the Qur'an declares that the Qur'an has been revealed in a very plain language and in pure Arabic, the rules of all Arabic grammar have been used. And the translation of commonly used words in Arabic is not different from the words in the Quran.
So, first of all, we will see how the words I have mentioned above are used in the Arabic language in everyday use. If you have ever been to Saudi Arabia, you know that the words on the signboards in Saudi Arabia are written in some places and if you have not been to Saudi Arabia, you just open Google and Type يُنفِقُونt in the search bar, The images you see in the search result will tell you what the word actually means in Arabic.

In fact, in Saudi Arabia, the word on the signboard is displayed on the outside of all the tunnels Through which the traffic flow continues.

However, this word does not mean a cut-off but is a process that continues without any interruption. So and how the money is deducted on an annual charity basis only once a year? It is entered according to which book of religion?

The 1st difference that emerged after that was the amount of money that should be deducted to help humanity on an annual charity basis. The person who translated that word differently from the Traditional Scholars was Ghulam Ahmad Pervaiz, who was a Quran only scholar.
According to Ghulam Ahmad Pervaiz, human beings should have money only to meet their basic needs, Excess money or property, wealth, should be donated to the Annual Charity. No one can keep extra money except to meet his basic needs.

Mr. Ghulam Ahmed Perwaiz was a socialist and he viewed the Quran with his socialist eyes without looking at the words of the Quran and also being under the influence of St. Paul Mr. Perwaiz falsely declared that the Quran was revealed in metaphorical language.
Mainly Marx and communism were very influential in the life of Ghulam Ahmad Parvaiz. If you read his books you will find out easily. He declared, according to his belief, that no person can keep his personal property. People who follow their faith are still promoting this belief.

Let us look at what the translation of the words in the Qur'an is. And we will see what Allah has told us in the verse and what guidance He has given us.

The article “مَا” (ma) of the phrase “مَاذَا” (maza) is used as a query or subject pronoun to mean: what or which etc. Whereas, “ذَا” (za) of the phrase “مَاذَا” (maza) is an ‘indication’ noun which refers to what is being discussed.
The next phrase “يُنفِقُونَ” is a plural passive voice verb of the present tense which includes its subject or practitioners, who are the practitioners of “نفق”. This is not that “نفق” which our evil scholars and their wicked disciples derive from the Persian word “نفاق” to mean: split, slice, cut or take away. Whereas, etymologically correct meaning of Arabic word “نفق” are “subway”, “tunnel”, “channel”, “tube”, “feeder”, “underground passage”, “canalization”, “outlay”, “disbursement”, “outgoing”, “disposal”, “discharging” and “distributing”. This is the reason why a “root canal” is called “نَفَقُ الجَذْر” in Arabic, which is a popular dental term. Likewise, in medical science “النَّفَقُ الحَبْلِيّ” and “النَّفَقُ الحَوضِيُّ” are known as “cordial canal” and “pelvic canal” respectively. Who don’t want to go into medicine, dentistry and scientific terms, they should recall, if they ever went for Hajj or Umrah and saw the same word “نفَق” (nafaq) written on the tunnels in Saudi Arabia such as “نفق الجمرات” (Nafaq Al Jamrat), i.e. Al Jamrat Tunnel which comes when you go to the places of stoning to Satan.

There are so many underpasses and tunnels in Makkah on the front arches of which their name is written as “نَفَق” so and so, such as “نّفَقُ الخارِجِيّ” or outer tunnel, “نفَقُ الدَّاخِلِيّ”  i.e. entering tunnel or internal tunnel, “نفق المفسلة”  or the  “نفق السلیمانیة” of the and “نفق المیقات” etc.

the correct translation of Quranic verse 2:3 “وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ” will be as follows: “And they channelize/disburse/feed on whatever is Our provision to them”. Likewise, the correct translation of Quranic verse 2:195 “وَأَنْفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ” is as follows: “And channelize/disburse/feed in way of Allah”. If we take channel or tunnel to mean feeder which it is actually then we can more understandably translate the same word “وَأَنْفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ” of the verse 2:195 to mean: “And feed in the way of Allah” (taking the verb “أَنْفِقُوا” to mean feed since tunnel or “نفق” is also a feeder of traffic from one end to the other).

Anyway, the word “قُل” (qul) of verse 2:219 is derived from Arabic root word “قلل” (Qaf Lam Lam) which is its verb as well as its proto root (Qaf Lam) correctly means: Below, Under, Lower, Least, Think, Suppose, Imagine, Reckon, Acknowledge, Express, Pronounce, Dictate, View, Articulate, State, Convey, Mitigate, Enunciate, etc.
When you correctly understand the next word “الْعَفْوَ” (al A’fu) you will be able to correctly translate the Quranic phrase "مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ" in question. In fact, the Quran is not difficult to understand but they are our Satan scholars and their evil disciples who have made the Quran difficult to understand due to their falsifications.

In Arabic legal system a legal terminology “قانون عفو” is widely used to mean “Act of Grace” which is taken to mean the law of dignity, ease, and convenience. The said Arabic word “عفو” (A’fu) to mean “Grace” is the same “Grace” which is used in the phrase “Grace Marks” and you know very well that “Grace Marks” is given to those candidates who do not automatically achieve the set criteria required for their success but they are very close to achieving their target and they are declared successful by giving them some “Grace Marks”. Therefore, the Arabic word “عفو” (A’fu) means “Grace” is used for our ease or convenience which makes up and balances the failure, shortcoming, shortfall, deficit, shortage, fault, delinquency, discrepancy, and insufficiency. So, in broad-spectrum, the Arabic or Quranic word “عفو” (A’fu) is used to mean “Tolerant”. This is the great attribute of God.

Now, the use of the word “قُلِ” before the word “الْعَفْوَ” makes sense because the word “قُلِ” urges us to keep our disbursement (نفق) below the level of our tolerance or the quantity of “يُنفِقُونَ” should be lower than what you easily bear or give away only what is under your convenient affordability keeping balance in your needs as well. Therefore, the words “مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ” of Quranic verse 2:219 are urging us ‘to channelize below what you easily bear’ or ‘to disburse under what you conveniently tolerate”, which is actually ‘below or under one’s bearing capacity’.
